Dorothea Seel – Musical Worlds from Baroque to Romantic

I play flutes that carry the breath of history – from the Baroque to the Romantic era.
My passion lies in the music of Mozart and his contemporaries, in the expressive language of the Classical era, and in reviving historical sound ideals.

As a soloist and artistic director of Barocksolisten München, I perform internationally on period instruments and explore how music was truly meant to sound. My book “Der Klang der Flöte im 19. Jahrhundert” bridges scholarship and artistic practice.
